Within Africa there is still unquestionably, a gender gap within the energy industry. Women currently represent a fraction of the energy industry’s workforce and are even scarcer in engineering and other technical fields that are the lifeblood of this business.
This is a great opportunity to learn the latest views and share ideas in our effort to improve the prospects of women within the energy sector. The conference format is organized around a group of key issues with a panel of high-level professionals in the energy industry who will help facilitate discussions among the attendees, it also seeks to discover strides made within the energy sector to empower women and asses how this empowerment and representation can be enhanced.
